What Is The Youth Employment Service Initiative?

  • The Youth Employment Service (Y.E.S) Initiative is a programme that has been initiated by the Department of Trade and Industry.

  • Y.E.S aims to provide jobs for young black South Africans aligned with Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) strategies.

  • Y.E.S enables any entity (EME, QSE or Generic) an opportunity to enhance its B-BBEE Level by 1 or 2 levels

 

How can ExcelGrow Assist you? 

A. Phase I – YES Administration – Includes the following steps:

  1. YES Workshop – To get all stakeholders on board.

  2. Client Preparation – To calculate budget, to qualify client for the YES programme, to register client with the YES Company.

  3. Candidate Registration – To assistance in selection and registration of candidates with YES Company.

  4. Candidate Induction – Induction session with YES Candidates to.

  5. Information Session & Candidate Fixed Term Contracts.

  6. Guidance – Quarterly Meeting with Client to assist in Admin Processes.

  7. Final BBBEE Verification Documentation – Assisting Companies to compile required documents for the Verification Process.

 

B. Phase II – Coaching Programme Via the ExcelGrow Occupation Hub – Includes the following steps:

  1. Psychometric testing while candidates is at work

  2. Various skills programmes

  3. Various workshop
